Harvey and his friends are having an amazing adventure in their race around the world! Their first stop is the city of Hong Kong. There's so much to see and do in Hong Kong! Here are a few of their favorites so far:

For the best view of the city, take a ride on the Star Ferry! You can see skyscrapers and buildings of all shapes and sizes from the water. If you take the ferry after dark, the city will be lit up with sparkling lights. It's an amazing sight to see! Be sure to check out the world’s largest permanent light and sound show over Victoria Harbour. It's called The Symphony of Lights, and it happens every night.

For another incredible view of the city, head to Victoria Peak, the highest point in Hong Kong. It's so high up, you can see right over the skyscrapers to the South China Sea! You can hike there, but you'll probably want to take the tram instead. At the top of the hill, there's a large viewing deck, some shops and restaurants, and a wax museum!

Nan Lian Garden

If you want to take a break from the big city and crowds of people, the Nan Lian Garden is a great place to relax. It's filled with all kinds of beautiful plants, ponds and streams, a bright, colorful bridge, and an amazing building that looks like it traveled through time from ancient China.

Tsing Ma Bridge

The Tsing Ma Bridge has two decks and carries both road traffic and rail traffic. It's the longest bridge in the world that carries rail traffic! The upper deck has six lanes for cars. The lower level has two lanes for trains and two sheltered lanes that can be used for road traffic if there's a hurricane or high winds. You might think it looks a lot like the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan or the Golden Gate Bridge in California! Hong Kong is made up of 263 different islands, which means bridges are an important way to get from one place to another.
